It dissolves quickly in warm water to make a liquid concentrate you apply as a foliar spray or soil drench — a fast, even way to deliver kelp’s natural trace minerals and plant-supporting compounds straight to roots and leaves. A little goes a long way: a small amount of powder makes multiple gallons of ready-to-use solution, which makes it an economical way to feed regularly.

Like all kelp products, it is a biostimulant and supplement rather than a complete fertilizer — its job is to support strong root development, plant vigor and balanced growth, and to help plants through stressful moments, not to supply the bulk nitrogen and phosphorus a feeding fertilizer provides.
