How to Apply
– Garden rows and beds: 2–3 lbs per 100 sq ft
– Broadcast / lawns: 20–25 lbs per 1,000 sq ft
– Trees, shrubs & evergreens: 1 lb per 10 ft of dripline (the circle under the outer edge of the branches)
– One 5 lb bag covers 200–250 sq ft broadcast; the 10, 15, and 20 lb bags cover proportionally more
1. New plantings: Work granules into the top 3–4 inches of soil before seeding or transplanting.
2. Established beds: Side-dress in a band alongside rows, keeping granules a few inches from stems.
3. Trees, shrubs & evergreens: Measure the dripline and spread 1 lb of fertilizer per 10 ft of it, evenly around the dripline circle — never against the trunk.
4. Lawns: Broadcast evenly with a spreader.
5. Water thoroughly — immediately: This fast-acting, urea-based formula goes to work as soon as it’s watered in; watering immediately also protects plants and turf. Never exceed the recommended rate.
6. Feed through the season: Reapply every 4–6 weeks during active growth.
Best timing: Spring for establishment and green-up; every 4–6 weeks through the growing season for heavy feeders.
Lawn note: This product contains phosphorus (10% P₂O₅). Some states restrict phosphorus applications on established turf — apply to lawns where a soil test indicates need, and check local regulations first.
