Because it contains no phosphorus, it suits routine feeding of established lawns — including many areas where phosphorus on established turf is restricted (always check your local rules). Added iron supports the deep green color lawns are known for, while pelletized lime helps maintain soil conditions that keep nutrients available to the grass.
