Product Description

Balanced, Season-Long Nutrition for Perennials That Come Back Stronger Every Year

Old Cobblers Farm Wicked Growth 10-10-10 is a balanced flower fertilizer made for perennial gardens. The 10-10-10 analysis means it supplies equal parts of the three nutrients plants use most: 10% nitrogen for healthy leaves and stems, 10% phosphorus for deep root development and flower formation, and 10% potassium for plant resilience and longer-lasting blooms.

Because perennials live for years rather than one season, they benefit from steady, even feeding rather than a single heavy push. This balanced, fast-acting formula delivers nutrients quickly after watering in, supporting both established clumps and new plantings — in sun or shade — and helping plants store energy to return stronger the following year.

Key Benefits

Balanced season-long feeding — Equal 10-10-10 nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium support foliage, roots, and blooms together — the steady nutrition long-lived perennials need.

Sun or shade, new or established — Suits established clumps and new plantings alike, from full-sun coneflowers to shade-loving hostas and astilbe.

Fast-acting and water-activated — Nutrients become available quickly after watering in, so plants respond during the active season.

Built for year-after-year performance — Spring and mid-summer feeding helps perennials store energy and return stronger the following year.

Simple, flexible rates — ½–1 cup per 10 sq ft or 1–2 tablespoons per plant — easy to measure, easy to adjust to soil test results.

Where to use it: perennial beds, borders, and individual plantings of daylilies, hostas, peonies, coneflowers (Echinacea), black-eyed Susans (Rudbeckia), lavender, irises, sedum, garden phlox, astilbe, coreopsis, salvia, bleeding heart, bee balm, Shasta daisies, veronica, lupines, heuchera (coral bells), columbine, and baptisia (false indigo).

Application Instructions

-Garden beds: ½ to 1 cup per 10 sq ft
-Individual plants: 1–2 tablespoons per plant, depending on size and maturity
Adjust according to plant health and soil test results
Steps:
1. Lightly moisten dry soil before applying.
2. Measure the correct amount with a cup or scoop. Wear gloves if preferred.
3. Scatter evenly around the base of plants or over the bed. Keep granules off foliage and away from stems and crowns.
4. Lightly work into the top 1–2 inches of soil with a rake or trowel.
5. Water thoroughly to activate the nutrients and begin uptake, then keep soil consistently moist (not waterlogged).
When and how often:
-Early spring: first application when new growth emerges
-Mid-summer: reapply to support ongoing flowering and foliage
-Late summer/early fall (optional): a lighter final feeding to prepare for dormancy
-Avoid late fall feeding — new growth pushed too late can be damaged by frost
What NOT to do: do not exceed the listed rates, do not leave granules sitting on leaves or against stems and crowns, and do not skip the watering-in step.

Ingredients

-Urea (10–20%) — Provides fast-acting nitrogen that fuels leaf and stem growth.
-Diammonium Phosphate / DAP (10–20%) — Supplies phosphorus for root development and flower formation, plus a secondary nitrogen contribution.
-Potassium Chloride (40–50%) — Also called muriate of potash; the potassium source that builds plant resilience, stem strength, and bloom longevity.
