Product Description
Low-Nitrogen, High Phosphorus & Potassium for Roots, Flowers and Fruit
Old Cobblers Farm™ Wicked Growth Tomato & Vegetable Fertilizer is a 5-10-10 blend built for the part of the season when plants are setting roots, flowering and fruiting. The ratio is deliberately low in nitrogen (5%) and higher in phosphorus (10%) and potassium (10%): just enough nitrogen for healthy foliage, with extra phosphorus to support root development and extra potassium for overall plant health and fruiting.
It feeds tomatoes and a wide range of garden crops — peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, leafy greens, squash and beans — and its low-nitrogen, high-P-and-K balance also suits root crops, bulbs and fall feeding. Apply it from planting through harvest and reapply every 4–6 weeks during the growing season for steady nutrition.
Where to use it: vegetable gardens, raised beds, flower beds and general garden areas — especially for fruiting and root crops.
Key Benefits
• Balanced 5-10-10 Ratio: Supports leafy tops, deep roots and healthy fruit development.
• Higher Phosphorus: 10% phosphorus supports strong root systems and flowering.
• Higher Potassium: 10% potassium supports overall plant health and fruiting.
• Built for Fruiting & Root Crops: Low-N, high-P-and-K balance suits tomatoes, root vegetables, bulbs and fall feeding.
• Flexible Application: Mix into soil at planting or side-dress established plants.
• Wide Crop Range: One feed for tomatoes, peppers, greens, squash, beans, carrots and beets.
• Steady Feeding: Reapply every 4–6 weeks for consistent nutrition through the season.
Best Uses
• Tomatoes (cherry, heirloom, paste, slicing)
• Peppers, eggplant and cucumbers
• Leafy greens (spinach, kale, lettuce)
• Root vegetables (carrots, beets) and bulbs
• Squash, zucchini and beans
• Flower beds and general garden — including fall feeding
Important Notes / Safety
• Soil Test First: Always test your soil before applying. This is a higher-phosphorus blend — add phosphorus based on need.
• Conventional Fertilizer: This is a Wicked Growth product — a conventional/commercial fertilizer, not an organic product.
• Apply & Water In: Side-dress around the base of established plants, keep granules off foliage, and water thoroughly after applying.
• Reapply on Schedule: Reapply every 4–6 weeks during the growing season for steady feeding.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep sealed and away from children and pets.
• Coverage: Coverage estimates assume broadcast application at the recommended rate.
Why Choose Old Cobblers Farm™?
We build dependable garden nutrition with simple, flexible application. Application Instructions
Application Instructions
-Row / bed: 2–3 lbs per 100 sq ft (about 200 linear ft of row per 5 lb)
At planting: mix into the soil before transplanting seedlings
Established plants: side-dress around the base and water thoroughly
Step by step
1. Test your soil first when you can, especially before adding phosphorus.
2. At planting, mix into the soil before transplanting seedlings.
3. For established plants, side-dress around the base, keeping granules off the foliage.
4. Broadcast at 20–25 lbs per 1,000 sq ft, or use 2–3 lbs per 100 sq ft in rows/beds.
5. Water thoroughly after applying to move nutrients into the soil.
6. Reapply every 4–6 weeks during the growing season for steady feeding.
What not to do
Do not let granules sit on wet foliage, do not exceed the recommended rate, and do not rely on it as a high-nitrogen feed — it is intentionally low in nitrogen.
