Power Your Plants with Precision and Performance
Fuel your plants with the targeted strength of Old Cobblers Farm™ Wicked Growth 10-5-13 Fertilizer — a high-performance formula designed to energize growth, strengthen roots, and promote vibrant fruiting. With elevated nitrogen and potassium, optimized phosphate, plus added calcium, magnesium, and sulfur, it’s the complete feeding solution for tomatoes, strawberries, fruiting vegetables, gardens, and turf.
What sets this formula apart is its dual-action nitrogen: fast-acting ammonium sulphate greens plants up quickly, while polymer-coated urea releases nitrogen slowly over weeks for steady, sustained feeding. Add potassium from two sources — plus the calcium that fruiting crops like tomatoes depend on — and you get a fertilizer that does the work of several products in one bag.
Key benefits:
– Accelerates Plant Growth – High nitrogen promotes vigorous foliage and leaf production
– Slow-Release Feeding – Polymer-coated urea delivers steady nutrition for weeks, not days
– Enhances Bloom & Fruit Quality – Elevated potassium supports flowering and fruiting cycles
– Calcium for Fruiting Crops – Helps build strong fruit and reduce calcium-related disorders like blossom end rot
– Strengthens Roots & Resilience – Phosphorus drives root development while potassium improves stress tolerance
Where to use it: tomatoes, strawberries, fruiting vegetables, vegetable gardens, flower beds, shrubs, and lawns/turf. Expect quick green-up within days from the fast-acting nitrogen, then steady growth and improved fruit set over the following weeks as the coated nitrogen and potassium do their work.
Application Instructions
Application Instructions
– Lawns/turf: 5 lbs per 1,000 sq ft — one 5 lb bag covers 1,000 sq ft
1. Gardens: Work granules into the top 3–4 inches of soil at planting, or side-dress established plants in a band alongside rows, keeping granules a few inches from stems.
2. Lawns: Broadcast evenly with a spreader at 5 lbs per 1,000 sq ft.
3. Water thoroughly: Always water in after every application to activate granules and start the slow-release feeding.
4. Feed through the season: The coated nitrogen feeds for weeks — reapply every 6–8 weeks during active growth for heavy feeders like tomatoes and strawberries.
Best timing: At planting and through fruit set for tomatoes and strawberries; spring and early summer for lawns and general garden feeding.
Lawn note: This product contains phosphorus (5% P₂O₅). Some states restrict phosphorus applications on established turf — apply to lawns where a soil test indicates need, and check local regulations first.
